GROUP YORUBA CLASSES
Build a Yoruba Foundation That Grows With Them
Our Group Yoruba Classes give children a structured, supportive way to build practical Yoruba skills while learning alongside other children. Lessons are age-appropriate and designed to develop understanding, speaking confidence, vocabulary and a meaningful connection to Yoruba culture.
HOW IT WORKS
8 instructor-led classes per 4-month term
Two live classes each month, with guided practice and activities between lessons.
Practice beyond the lesson
Children reinforce what they learn through interactive assignments, conversation activities and video practice.
Progress that parents can see
Monthly learning checks and an end-of-term assessment help us understand each child's progress.
Culture beyond the screen
Children also have opportunities to participate in ABD Club cultural, community and intergenerational experiences throughout the year.

BEYOND THE LESSON
Learning Continues Between Classes
Children build confidence when they have opportunities to use what they are learning again and again. That is why the ABD Club experience extends beyond instructor-led lessons.
Learn it. Practice it. Live it.
PRACTICE
Interactive assignments and activities help children reinforce vocabulary, listening and speaking skills between lessons.
USE IT
Children get opportunities to respond, speak, create and demonstrate what they know—including video-based practice where appropriate.
TRACK PROGRESS
Regular learning checks and end-of-term assessments help us understand each child's progress and identify areas that need more support.
CONNECT
Cultural and community experiences give children opportunities to connect what they learn to Yoruba identity, people, traditions and everyday life.
